Yesterday I had the honor of interviewing my good friend and fellow brewer Todd Isbell of Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery. This is the first of many interviews I will be doing with North Carolina's brewers, wine makers, and other craft beverage folk. The purpose of this is to give a little more insight into who the people are making our favorite beverages. This is not the same old interview that's been done over and over again. The questions range from growing up, sports, music, 1st alcohol experiences, etc.
I had originally planned on recording then transcribing the interview but after listening to the recording I realized I could never do it justice. The language used is the very typical colorful language used in the alcohol business. If you are easily offended by cursing, crass humor, or sexist comments you're better off not listening. If you are interested in the people who make your favorite NC beverages I think you will really enjoy this and future interviews.
